Why do a lot of young people think that you have to be hardcore to be into hip hop, being gangsta does not equal hip hop can anyone help me with this to why??? F.Y.I. real gangstas move in silence
Smack talker 50 game is tight and he was better when he was getting his beats from Dre, sometime people get lost and he tryin to broadin his game not just limit it to music but do movies and investments, can't rap forever and f.y.i. being real does not pay the bills, i been to a many hip hop concerts and heard Biggies first demo and knew right there he would be real big on top of a bigga nigga, heard Pun the first time and knew he was goin to be on top, i am more of a New York area hip hop head and I do say this one thing, if a person can not freestyle of the top of the dome thats a bubble gum rapper and i do not mean revite old songs they made or heard, to all you cats who do not know, let me school you the most lyrical person to have spit was BIG L and thats the real...

u right mike i feel u im a hypercrit saying so but its hard not to the said thin is alot of rappers are lying and just want to look gagnsta the rest just cant stop reliving there life on wax
Itz like dis shit started in da park, niggaz use to battle, any softness or weakness would be used to ya opponent's advantage. Its da same 2day still for the most part, nobody wants to appear soft so they start rappin' bout real nigga shit, plus at da end of day most niggaz wanna hear some ignorant gangsta shit, u get too deep and u lose niggaz, so thats another reason

i was in the parks n abandon buildings when it started and i can let u know who the pioneers was and it started all in fun no one back then was acting crazy it was all in peace, the gangsta music came from NWA and on the east KOOL G RAP got gangsta after that and a few other heads, as u put it gangsta came quite a few years later really when generation X got older and that i do not care attitude came into play
If u wanna keep it gangsta keep it 100 wit yourself 1st n foremost then you can keep it real wit every 1 else & Hip Hop differs from Gansterism as some may wanna call it they just tend 2 wana combine 2 diffrent worlds and make bread off of it some have the skills 2 do it and others just need to leave that shit alone and stick to the regular Hip Hop game where they belong... Real Gangstas dont speak about they are about action and like Mike said they move in silence so therefore they be about it... Simple as that no ands if or buts about it..
